Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa, Lexington

I had a disappointing stay at Griffin Gate Marriott, where the charm of Kentucky seemed to have faded over the years. While the staff was pleasant and the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, the absence of traditional elements made the experience feel less special. There were also several issues with the facilities that contributed to my discontent. On a positive note, the location was great, and the bed was indeed comfortable, but overall, it didn't meet my expectations as a long-time Marriott guest.

My stay at the resort was quite mixed. The customer service was outstanding, particularly with staff like Nathan who went above and beyond. However, I found the food quality at the hotel events lacked consistency and was disappointing. On the upside, the facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable, especially the pools, but I felt the dining options could use some improvement. Overall, it was a decent experience but not without its flaws.
